I EXPECT SOME OF THESE PREVIOUS YEAR BUS GUIDELINES TO BE CHANGED BECAUSE OF THE COVID 19…. STAYED TUNED.
Regardless of whether we are home or away, players are expected to support the entire team. This is primarily directed to varsity players; they are expected to stay and support the JV team playing. THE PROGRAM IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE PLAYER.
For away games, we expect players to ride the bus to and from games. If a player needs an exception to not ride the bus back to the school, a written statement from the parent will be required and received by a coach before we leave the parking lot to go to an away game. The experience of riding the bus as a team is considered important in the learning process and molding of teams.
All scheduled games will be played back to back. Varsity will play first with a 60 min game; JV will be 48 minutes. We expect players to support the on-going games. When the games are played at home, we will be playing on the turf field located behind the HS.
We are not concerned about the convenience (within logical boundaries) of taking your daughter home from an away game OR a home game ….. we are building team pride, memories, and developing/nurturing the bonding of young ladies.
It is expected that when we return from an away game that parents are at the parking lot ready to take their daughter home. Coaches are not convenient chaperones.
If a game is cancelled due to weather conditions, we’ll try to make sure it is on this web page for you. Sometimes games are postponed at the last minute because of lightning.
Bus will load and leave in front of the Arena. Dismiss and bus times are listed on the calendar pages.
